what is a brothel? I understand its something to do with naked woman and sex but?

i dont really understand it. My friends husband visited one on a stag party in prague and she was really upset over it and i think his friend paid for some services.
What exactly happens in one is it just set out like a strip club or what?

It's a prostitution house. A bunch of prostitutes live there and sell sex too losers.
